C. A. Norwood

inspires the lives of many through his positive and practical messages that help believers master the skill of living the God kind of life. His dedicated passions are his family, God’s Word, and occasional fishing trips. In November of 1998, Pastor Norwood became the Pastor of Abundant Life Worship Center. He is married and together they serve as pastors of ALWC. They have two young adult children that also serve in ministry with them. As the shepherd of the ministry the church is growing and reaching families locally, nationally, and internationally. The focus of ALWC is to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Making disciples and developing leadership that will assist in furthering the gospel. Thus by making their faith, their family, and friends enriched through the Word of God. Each new week at ALWC attracts men, women, and children of all ages breaking the denominational and racial backgrounds who are interested in growing in Kingdom knowledge of God’s Word. Pastor Norwood’s heartbeat is God’s heartbeat for the Kingdom of God where he is the leader of God’s people. As spiritual leader, he is teaching and preaching the Gospel and provide leadership in developing the various ministries necessary as God directs him.

Elect Lady Dedra

Dedra is a humble and an anointed woman of God dedicated to leading women to the throne of grace through prayer and counseling. She has a ministry established for women of all ages at Abundant Life bringing both healing and deliverance to the lives of married and single women alike. As Co-Pastor, God has given her insight for oversight in helping to lead the women in ministry. She has a heart for God’s people and has traveled with her husband national and international preaching, teaching and encouraging many. They are often called “the dynamic duo” they have been blessed to teach as a tag team while demonstrating the taught word of God. Understanding my call to ministry is not above my husband’s but to serve as a compliment to him in what capacity of ministry I am called upon to serve. Through my commitment to God and faithfulness to my husband, the Lord has blessed us with two children, Donte’ and Amber.
