This Ministry is presented to you with over 25 years of Godly experience from our Pastors C. A. & Dedra Norwood. Eager to share from their hearts to yours about what great unity, love, and oneness God will bring to every marriage from the Word of God. A married couple’s Ministry, that meets quarterly, designed for couples, and to receive priceless gems from the Word of God which causes growth and stability in their relationship. Through the Ministry of the Word and interaction with other couples, many couples have come to know how to have a happy, healthy, God-centered marriage.

Single and Successful

Single and Successful Ministry is focus on developing singles that will be productive in the Kingdom of God and society as a whole. As a result, we tailor this Ministry to be relative to college students, single parents, and those who are engaged to be married.

Ushers/Hospitality

The Usher’s Ministry is composed of those dedicated to “order” in the House of Lord. This Ministry is designed to portray the love that Christ has for all mankind through rendering service to visitors and the congregation. The Hospitality Ministry of Abundant Life is composed of men and women who enjoy serving others. They extend to guests and friends of the Pastor and church a helping hand and a friendly spirit. They are dedicated to the comfort of church guests and satisfy their hunger and thirst at designated times. They primarily serve at the discretion of the Pastor and assist the Co-Pastor in fulfilling their request for special service and the coordination of serving the church and their families who are bereaved.

Men of Valor

Pastor C. A. Norwood teaches the Word of God to men in a man-to-man manner. Topics such as finances, ministering to your wife and children, being a man of God vs. a man of the world and other such areas are ministered to the men attending this fellowship.

Mentoring Women of Excellence

Equipping women of all ages to grow into a strong, lasting relationship with God and to become the women God see in them according to Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. By serving in their gifts and talents through service to God, their families, their church and their community will enjoy the Abundant Life one house at a time. Our very own Pastor Dedra Norwood, serves as the Director of Women’s Ministry. Women of Virtue offers special times of Ministry for the ladies of Abundant Life throughout the year. These times of Ministry include regularly scheduled meetings, an annual Women’s of Virtue Conference.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

I P M- is a trained and dedicated group of believers who pray persistently with faith for various Ministry and mankind needs.

Liturgical Ministry

Let them praise his name in the dance: Psalm 149:3a what an awesome Ministry to be serving in, glorifying the Lord through dance. This team ministers through the fine arts movements. There are different levels of movements: ballet, tap, twirling, flag and mime of which all are harmony in movement when ministering together from various team members.

Praise & Worship Team

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand; Psalm 149:6 this Ministry has various singers serving in the capacity of voice.

Music Ministry

Musical instruments are an integral part of praise and worship. When we zamar is to mizmor we are accompanying a song with instruments. Thus enriching the atmosphere of praise and worship for the purpose of allowing the Lord Jesus to dwell in. This brings healing, deliverance and the broken hearted are mended together.

Parenting with a Purpose    

Children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Heritage means that children belong to God; they are “ours” only in a secondary sense. Thus we as Christian parents are to bring them into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Believing the Lord for their total lifestyle to be in Him. This Ministry is for both single parents and parents.

Senior Saints Ministry

Senior Saints is our special Ministry group for those 60 years of age and older. Through special Ministry of the Word, our seniors are charged up for battle. Their youth is renewed like the eagle and they are ready to do damage to the devil’s kingdom. If you are 60 years of age or older and would like to be a part of our Silver Saints Ministry, please join us for exciting times of fun and fellowship.

Helps Ministry(Having Enough Loving People Serving)

Abundant Life Worship center offers a host of lay Ministry opportunities for you to use your gifts and talents for the Kingdom of God. We encourage you not to be just a pew sitter but an active participant in the work that God is doing through this Ministry. Although some of our auxiliaries require you to be a member seven months before you began to serve, there are others that you can get involve in right away. The Ministry of Helps at Abundant Life Worship Center is the consolidation of various groups of Holy Spirit-filled believers. By you participating in the Ministry of Helps you can assist in meeting the operational demands of the Ministry.

This part of our Ministry equips teens for conquering challenges in today’s culture.

Recreational Activities

Fun, Fun, Fun this Ministry is for the entire family. No one is too small or too tall. God has placed this Ministry for the enjoyment of the parishioners and reaching the community through various activities. Swimming, Basketball, Softball,Camping,Cycling, Fishing and many other Outdoor /indoor events.
